Rubber is an excellent growing medium for the majority of gourmet mushrooms and we use them in our grow kits. This versatile product, in pellet form, makes preparing your substrate bags quick and easy. Oyster, Shiitake, Reishi, Maitake, and Lion's Mane are some common mushroom species that grow on rubber mushroom pellets.

Our Mushpellets are excellent for supplementation. In Kerala, rubber is the preferred wood for many types of mushrooms. Rubber sawdust appears to be beneficial to oysters, Shiitake, Pioppini, Reishi, Lion's Mane, and other mushrooms.

You can add nutrients to your rubber pellets if you have them on hand. Some growers discover that they can obtain some ingredients locally, but not the rubber hardwood.
